The Shed blends harmoniously into its magnificent environment and offers an inspiring space for artisanal creativity to be unleashed.

The modern interior and all equipment visible behind glass facades provide a unique opportunity for public viewing of the oil pressing process.

The Olive Shed extra virgin cold pressed oils are stored in small 1000 litre tanks in an area cooled to 12°C. The cultivars are kept separately to be marketed as single variety oils. The range consists of four, namely Leccino, Frantoio, Mission and Multi Varietal, each displaying a unique character with regard to fruitiness, intensity and flavour, thereby catering for specific uses and palates.

The Olive Shed aims to develop an Olive Oil style that is uniquely South African, specifically Western Cape.
